Contraband

I watched the movie Contraband with my dad last week. So I guess this is my first movie review.
The movie has some action appeal. Mark Whalberg plays this ex-smuggler whose brother in law gets involved with smuggling cocaine out of Panama, and he gets caught. The brother in law is smuggling for some high-end drug dealers in Lousiana who go after him after he dumps the shipment in the water. The brother in law nearly dies, so "the debt," goes to Whalberg. Whalberg gets back into the smuggling business in Panama, runs into some trouble there. There is some action seens. I don't want to spoil it for you though.
I found the filming very office-esqe. It seemed like the camera was wobbly, and the acting wasn't that believable. They also threw in just a bunch of F-Bombs when they didn't need to. The characters were not well developed; there is this one seen where Whalberg is saying that he loves smuggling secretely when he very believably says he despises it earlier. But what can I say? It was very ocean eleven-y, and I'm a sucker for that stuff. See Contraband.
