Contraband

I watched the movie Contraband with my dad last week. So I guess this is my first movie review.
The movie has some action appeal. Mark Whalberg plays this ex-smuggler whose brother in law gets involved with smuggling cocaine out of Panama, and he gets caught. The brother in law is smuggling for some high-end drug dealers in Lousiana who go after him after he dumps the shipment in the water. The brother in law nearly dies, so "the debt," goes to Whalberg. Whalberg gets back into the smuggling business in Panama, runs into some trouble there. There is some action seens. I don't want to spoil it for you though.
I found the filming very office-esqe. It seemed like the camera was wobbly, and the acting wasn't that believable. They also threw in just a bunch of F-Bombs when they didn't need to. The characters were not well developed; there is this one seen where Whalberg is saying that he loves smuggling secretely when he very believably says he despises it earlier. But what can I say? It was very ocean eleven-y, and I'm a sucker for that stuff. See Contraband.

This is my Blog

Hello.     My name is Alex, but my friends from elementary school call me "Dubs." Maybe sometiime I'll even tell you why they call me that.
You may have seen my older blog, which today I completely deleted. I figured that since I hadn't posted since September, all of my "followers," (like my grandma and my uncle,) probably ditched the blog. I read on NewsWeek that if you write reviews online, it lets your voice be heard and you express yourself more. But okay.
I figure that my blog will start out as a stupid blogspot, but maybe someday it will get a lot bigger. I don't really feel like putting the effort into making a website.
    Maybe someday, though.
I'm in sixth grade. I'm a pretty good student, not to brag or anything. Really my title, "Nerdz Spot," is just to get attention.
I'm not exactly the most enthusiastic person, so don't expect me to be whooping with joy all the time, adding a bunch of exclamation points. And don't expect me to be having text talk. r u ok wit dat? sory :-(
    Yeah, but alright.
Honestly, this blog is more just something to do.
It is snowing where I live in Denver. Whoops! Did I just tell you where I live? Well that narrows your stalker search to the two gajillion people living in Denver named Alex. Anyway, it's a snowday. That is honestly why I started this blog anyway. I'll try and post sometimes.
I really don't want to feel like I'm talking to myself, so please visit my blog.
